Benedict

Breakfast Heaven.

I‘m usually rather sceptic when it comes to chains, however, with Benedict, it’s different. Here, you really get such good value for money! The last time I was in the branch on Ben Yehuda Street with two of my girlfriends, all of us were sooo amazed - literally everything we ordered was delicious! Now, the first thing that has to be said is that you get unlimited refill of warm bread, accompanied with home-made apple-cinnamon jam, which is incredibly tasty.

The second thing that needs to be said is, that this is one of the very few places in Tel Aviv that serve NUTELLA! Being at least 50% German at heart, I do appreciate Nutella with my coffee and I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I was to find out that here, I could get as much as my fat soul was craving for :)

Third and most importantly: the staff is soooo friendly! I mean, genuinely friendly. Attentive, patient, funny, nice - it was a pure pleasure! I can highly recommend this place if a) you like to wake up late and still appreciate to have breakfast at 2 pm and b) you like to eat a lot without spending a lot. Enjoy!

There are 3 branches of Benedict in Tel Aviv, however, for some reason the one on Ben Yehuda is the best! If you want my personal recommendation, take the pancake with lotus cream and white chocolate on top, it’s incredible. There is a “mini” version which is everything but mini. Unless you have some sort of second stomach for sweets, mini is more than enough.
