If you’re looking for a typical night out in a proper telavivstyle location, this is the place to go. Kuli Alma is one venue that covers it all - it’s a bar, a club, an art gallery. Depending on the day, you can enjoy live music, grill & chill noon-events, theme parties and so much more. To see the schedule, visit their website. If you don’t feel like standing in line forever, make sure to get there early, about 11-ish. On the weekend it’s always packed. Always.
There are two small rooms beside the bar & dance floor area - one of them exhibits pieces of young artists, the other one is a pop up store for local designers. The exhibitions vary from time to time and are always worth checking out. Kuli Alma is definitely one of my favorite locations in Tel Aviv - it represents everything this city is: cool, hip, artsy, easy-going. Random side-note: sometimes you might find yourself spending way more time than necessary at the restroom, cause that’s where they actually play the best music!
